So, we've taken songs from the last few releases (Pop Culture Failure, Copper Regret, Red-Eyed Regular, and Texas One Ten) and did a little re-mastering and called the record Carnival Nostalgia: 2000 - 2006. It's a nice little retrospective that covers 6 years of the band and we think it will be a good way to introduce some new folks to the band. We also made sucker enhanced and have added videos for "More at Home" and "South Stanley Place"... plus we threw in a few live videos as well.

as i see these changes in my friends question those decisions my margins closing quickly reevaluate positions sinking deeper every day nervous traits give it away and all those little lies i say i think that everyone's this way someone said unsatisfied but it doesn't capture what i'm trying to describe replace those feelings trapped inside with that commonplace advice what am i supposed to do? it's right in front of you everything everything in another state of mind i find it easy to empathize i wonder why i'm not ahead and making lots of money repeated pattern every day it's laid right there in front of me like an easy kill i'm not prepared to be that victim yet i am supposed to do everything

drive down that dead end street it's where we used to live no revelation there railroad tracks at the cul de sac the shopping carts and the furniture barricades never did derail that train twisted metal and the broken frames so were we thankful that it never happened here or did we wait for that disaster drinking beer on the sofa on the rooftop of the upside down it's all upside down it's all do you wish for tragedy just to see it happen here or do you smile in a sigh of relief when your friend wakes up in a hospital room no time for remorse now it's all been broken down a penny saved they call a penny earned and we never learned that lesson there that year leaving pennies on the railroad tracks as a flattened copper regret upside down it's all upside down it's all driving down that dead end street it's where we used to live
